VICE Report on Poole’s Land
VICE News recently released a very interesting special report on Poole’s Land in Tofino, British Columbia titled “The Anarchist Commune in the Rainforest.” Drone Studios was in the same location, Poole’s Land less than a week afterward to shoot a music video for a local Tofino band “The Comfortably Sauvage” which captures the beauty and culture in Poolesland in a natural way.

Manisha Krishnan travels to Poole's Land, an anarchist commune on the western edge of Canada to figure out what exactly is drawing young people to live on the periphery of society. She ventures into the rainforest and confronts a variety of her deepest fears, but ultimately finds enlightenment in the spirit of the people who inhabit this mysterious place.
